Happy New Year

Hello,

Wow, so much has gone on since the last time I blogged. With the birth of my son, family birthdays, moving my family and the holidays - and I am starting a new business and I have diabetic invention prototype being built for patenting - I Praise God for 2008 - this is the year for New Beginnings - Peace and Increase

Today was a day - Nasara's blood sugar dropped to 39 before lunch - I am pretty sure it was the new insulin - we did a site change this morning. It is so important to learn your child's body to different events or elements - for example - in addition to the new insulin acting faster and stronger - her blood sugar would always drop around 1-2am when she was on Lantus regiment.

Nasara told me she was going to be more responsible and proactive to her diabetic management. YEAH - I pray for the best - I have been trying to make her own it more - not rescuing her so much - and when I do that I feel guilty, but I want her to step up to the plate - when I am around - she does great when I am not. Well, my 9 week old son is waking up. Peace and Blessings, Shelbee
