Just wanted to share our drama with the Cozmo not working and having to get a replacement with a cozmonitor sent to us. I must say this was the first time that it took longer than I expected. Smith medical is usually very good in getting items sent out in time. Nasara (naturally) had to go back to the syringe therapy (6 shots per day & Lantus) while we waited. Finally after 4 days we received the new Cozmo, but they failed to put in the cozmonitor -another 5 days go by. My only issue was we were penalized for their mistake. They sent the pump via fedex, but sent the cozmonitor (that they left out of the box) by regular ground. Not a smart move. In any event, she is back on her pump, but we after 2 days of lows I realized that the time was wrong on the pump, which thoroughly messed up her basal delivery. When my husband had the info downloaded from the computer to the pump, we forgot to check the time - it is an option you have to check so it goes automatically with the time on the computer - if you do not check that area - the clock on the pump will be inaccurate - SO BEWARE.
